Employment for 2010/11 season
We have already filled all the spaces for office staff and full-time instructor positions for this coming winter. We are still accepting applications for casual and part-time instructors that can give us some time throughout the season. You must be available during the mid-February holidays, and at other points during the season at (mid-week, weekends, christmas etc) . Instructors
We employ around 30 full-time and 45 part-time instructors each winter season. Many of these return year after year, however we usually have space for a few new instructors to join us each year. We employ instructors by August each year so if you are wanting to work full-time for us please ensure you contact us by then. Most of our instructors are qualified through the British Association of Snowport Instructors, however we recognise many other countries qualifications. In order to work for us instructors should ensure they have a recognised and valid instructional qualification. This should be up to date and revalidated, and ideally you should also hold a recognised first aid certificate and a Criminal Record disclosure (if BASI qualified then this is mandatory as part of your qualification, otherwise we can carry this out on your behalf).
Office
We have a busy office operating on Cairngorm between November and April and employ an office manager and around 3 or 4 seasonal office staff. There are sometimes spaces for office staff or people wanting to work part -time in the office and part-time as an instructor.
